"Les huit grandes photographies d'Aurélien Meimaris donnent une vision de l'Amérique tout à fait passionnante. Tel Kubrick regardant le monde derrière le hublot du vaisseau spatial de 2001, L'Odysée de l'espace, le jeune artiste juxtapose des images de passé immémorial, tel le crâne d'un T. Rex ou un gros plan sur une anguille capable d'envoyer des décharges électriques, des cosmonautes hors du temps, et des expériences scientifiques rappelant La leçon d'anatomie du docteur Tulp de Rembrandt. Ces images seraient celles qui resteraient d'un monde qui n'existe déjà plus ?"

"The eight large photographs of Aurélien Meimaris give an absolutely fascinating vision of America. Like Kubrick looking at the world behind the window of the spaceship of 2001, A Space Odyssey, the young artist juxtaposes images of immemorial past, such as the skull of a T. Rex or a close-up of an eel able to send electric shocks, cosmonauts out of time, and scientific experiments reminiscent of Rembrandt's The Anatomy Lesson of Doctor Tulp. These images would be those that would remain of a world that no longer exists?"
